Dopo un breve periodo di beta test, è stato rilasciato XRSound.
Già dal nome XRSound si può intuire che l'autore è lo stesso della rinomata Flotta XR: Douglas Beachy (dbeachy1 su OF), e questo sicuramente garantisce alta qualità e aggiornamenti puntuali.
Riassunto di XRSound
XRSound fornisce più di 450 chiamate vocali, effetti audio e suoni di default completamente configurabili per tutte le navi di Orbiter, disponibili anche agli sviluppatori di add-on tramite il modulo XRSound.dll. Oltre al file globale "XRSound.cfg" che configura i suoni di default per tutte le navi, puoi anche editare o creare file di configurazione specifici per una certa classe di navi, come per esempio il file "XRSound-DeltaGlider.cfg" incluso, ecc., che assegna suoni di default ad animazioni specifiche o al carrello di atterraggio senza bisogno di ricompilare l'add-on, nè di s...

Al momento, dopo tante letture in giro per il web e consultazioni tra di noi, sono venute fuori queste configurazioni che migliorano la situazione. Premesso che abbiamo tutti schede video nVidia abbiamo cosi configurato i driver: Poi nel gioco oltre a levare (se presente) la tilde a tutti gli effetti (shake, cinematic ecc.) l'abbiamo tolta anche alla sincronia verticale (vertical sync) essendo attivata nel driver (foto 3)

Ce ne sono tante di app per smartphone e tablet capaci di controllare da remoto un PC ed ognuna ha le sue peculiarità o specializzazioni. Questa in particolare, è capace di rendere il tuo "attrezzo" in un gamepad, un joystick, una tastiera o un pannello personalizzabile su cui creare bottoni, slider e chi più ne ha ne metta inserendo nomi ed immagini "ad hoc" per controllare il tuo pc e quindi i software o giochi che girano su di esso. E più facile da farsi che a dirsi e nonostante le moltissime possibilità d'uso e piuttosto semplice da usare. Naturalmente bisogna scaricare anche un programma "PC remote receiver" che va installato sul pc.
