Come molti di voi sanno da qualche mese a questa parte si è venuta a formare una comunità di volo virtuale in RoF ben nutrita che in continua crescita ed evoluzione organizza nei giovedì sera, una serata con missioni a tema. Volevo invitare tutti i possessori del sim a farsi avanti senza scuse del tipo: "è sempre un dogfight" "non c'è varietà di missioni" ecc.ecc. partecipando alla serata di giovedì 23.12.

Il contesto proposto è relativo alla missione Toul and Metz HP0400v1 by Smokin' Hole

Alleati: HP O/400 - Spad XIII - Sopwith Triplane - Sopwith Camel
Crucchi: Fokker DR.I - Fokker DVIIF - Pfalz DIIIa - Pfalz DXII


Entrambe le fazioni hanno target specifici da raggiungere.

QUICK BRIEF:
--CENTRAL, cover Metz and destroy three staff trains.
--ALLIES, cover the train and bomb Metz.

Time: 1030
Cloud bases are at 2200m.
Winds are out of the East at 3m/s. Late Spring snow.

MISSION: Each side has a General. The goal for both teams is to get the enemy's General to relocate from his old HQ to the city and kill him while enroute. The triggering event for that move is different for the two sides:
--For Allies, the bombing Metz.
--For Central, the destruction of three Staff trains.

Black arrows indicate locations of secondary targets. Red Arrows indicate primary objectives (the two HQs, FOR CENTRAL: the Train's origin, and FOR ALLIES: Metz).

ALLIES, your target is a neighborhood in the lower part of Metz marked by a waypoint icon ("X") and multiple fires set by citizens friendly to our cause and decidedly unfriedly to their neighbors. Metz is 173m (568') above sea level.

CENTRAL, your target is the Train carrying vital staff from just north of Toul to Malzeville. Once destroyed, a subsequent train will roll along the same route. Destroy three.

There are three ways the map will end:
--The 2 hour end timer.
--Score.
--VICTORY by Eliminating the opposing side's General.
Don't bother paying a visit to the old HQ until the General makes his move.
