Io:Sorry but did WWII US fighters use alien technology? lolWe are talking about a dogfight that happened in 1945 when the US had air superiority over Germany and had to deal with less than novice German pilots...nothing easier. If i'am not wrong during the first years(42-43) of the US intervention in the ETO, the US fighters and bombers forces get kicks in the ass and blood from the nose from really combat experienced German pilots! This Richard Candelaria is a REAL jerk!!! Americans!!!! :,
Lui:This German pilot certainly didn't appear to be a novice by any means so I'm really left to wonder what your point is. Do you have one? This HastaeMartis is a REAL jerk!!!! Italians!!!
Io:The point is that i never heard about such strange and unrealistic manouvers.Never heard Saburo Sakai or Gunther Rall or Adolf Galland or whoever they were, tell such weird things this Richard Candelaria said!If i heard a wwII italian pilot says such bulls**t i would be the first to kick him in the a**! Thats my point YouT00ber!Apart of this i love the serie! ;-)
Lui:As Mr. Candeleria lived to talk about it, I'll take for his word that he did what he said he did here, but for all intents & purposes, this is an "artist's rendition of events" & so it remains a possibility that maybe that crazy manuever looked a lil different in real life. The complete story of Mr. Candeleria's mission is actualy quite impressive, this is just a part of it.
Bullshit, this manoeuvre is impossible...
Agreed. In the speeds the P-51D went, wings would have been ripped off. These `dogfight´-series are nice to look at, but the numbers presented and some manouvers pilots claimed just are not possible.
