Topic: Problem with IL2WAR mod

I have at least two mates who have installed IL2WAR mod according to instructions but still their modded IL-2 wont start. It starts and loads e.g into 50% and then freezes.

With the other friend I even burned my IL-2 folder into DVD which he then copied into his PC as such without success. He tried also with his own conf.ini but it didn't help either. They both have Win XP and all other mods are working well on their PC setup (including Volperossas's Mediterranean map with planemod from AAA website)

This must some setting in their System or something HW related which I doubt.

Anyone else had similar problems and has succeed in fixing it ?

In directory of game, with no mod installed, if You have a Dir called "Files", try to delete it,firstit's  better to make a back up it sure.....
Maybe it's the same problem i had....

Another mate said to delete, after back up these dll:
mg_snd.dll
mg_snd_sse.dll
these are inside a dir like....C/.....Mods/il2war-sound mod pack 1.1

....others good dll, 4.09 that I have are here
