Hello, fellow pilots!

Throughout these many months after the release of Rise of Flight, we have all worked hard to make the experience a memorable one: we, the neoqb developers worked to improve gameplay and create content to fill the game world, and you, the gamers have enthusiastically revived this world, enriching it with exuberant atmosphere and helped to create one of the best aviation simulator communities of all time!

Recreating the grandeur of this very important moment in history by way of online dog fighting was and is an exhilarating experience for us. This has brought the talented and quick-thinking ace pilot out in all of us, and allowed people from all over the world to test their mettle in the virtual skies.

Up until now, we have lacked a comprehensive tool to hold tournaments and championships. Ladders and duel missions, using third party applications, were helpful, but still very make-shift. Therefore, we decided to improve the situation by working on something special in parallel with the main update.

We are happy to announce the first official Rise of Flight Championship! We polished and repainted tournament planes, prepared fully equipped duel arenas with seats for spectators, and got judges together for unbiased winner selection. The tournament site will open soon, and along with it, a new section of the RoF website, with all the necessary tools for signup, duel results, reviews and track downloads. All of this will finally help to organize a proper championship.

By the way, the way I understand it, if you're giving participants aircraft they havent yet paid for (I havent got the Se5a or Camel yet) does that mean that we use the aircraft on our accounts indefinately or just for the tournament?

A proposito, da quello che capisco, se date ai partecipanti del torneo degli aerei che non hanno ancora comprato (io non ho nè il Se5a nè il Camel), vuol dire che possiamo usare questi aerei sul nostro account a tempo indefinito, o solo per la durata del torneo ?

Aircrafts will available to use since next regular RoF update. I can't say you when this will done, it's a secret =) But you will have a 1, 2 or even 3 weeks to practice new planes before the tournament.
And yes, you can use them everywhere

Gli aerei saranno resi disponibili dal prossimo regolare aggiornamento del gioco. Non posso ancora dire quando, è un segreto. Ma avrete 2 o 3 settimane per fare pratica con i nuovi aerei prima del torneo.
Gli aerei si potranno usare a tempo indefinito.

Hanno risposto, precisando che (senza pagare una lira) gli aerei saranno disponibili a chi si iscrive al torneo, solo per la durata del torneo.

per adesso ho comprato solo il simulatore,
e chi ha già comprato tutti gli altri 13 aerei allora e fesso? quanto gli sarà costato lo sfizio?( 71.00 €). adesso chi non li possiede può averli gratis (in prova) per il tempo del torneo, non mi pare gisto e corretto nei confronti di chi ha pagato.
questi secondo me hanno troppa fretta di rastrellare moneta

per me la condotta attuale dello staff di RoF è corretta, io non mi sento offeso se un utente che non ha versato un € in più si faccia un giro su uno di questi modelli; anche perché molto probabilmente li potrà usare solo offline o sui server del torneo.
io sto aspettando in grazia la pacht 1.11 che introdurrà la possibilità di accedere al gioco da programmi esterni e la nuova modalità dogfight

se posso chiedere tu hai comprato qualche altro aere?
se fanno solo provare offline (DEMO pubblicità) ok, ma partecipare al torneo con aerei aggratiss non sono convinto.
io avrei preferito comprare un'altro DVD per la pacht con nuovi altri aerei
